ABOUT MARAVAL
Maraval is a northern suburb of Port of Spain, capital of the Caribbean nation of Trinidad and Tobago, where I was born and raised. People who meet me often think I have a British accent, for which you can blame my English mother. I also have a Trinidad accent, which you might get to hear sometime, thanks to my Trini roots.
I chose the name “Maraval” for my real estate services firm in honor of my homeland, and also because Maraval is a microcosm of real estate uses. The original trickling river and soaring stands of bamboo still survive amid a bustle of transit and retail, schools and churches, offices and restaurants, hotels and golf courses – all a short drive from the highrises of downtown.
Growing up in Maraval, I didn’t know I would end up making a career in real estate in Seattle. Here I am, and I look forward to working with you.
